Hi, I’m Jessie Dotson.

Compassionate and dedicated mental health professional with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, concentrating in Family Services. I am a Certified Mental Health Peer Support Specialist and certified to deliver the COPE (Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment) program, a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-based intervention designed to promote resilience and emotional wellness.

As a military veteran, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by service members, veterans, and their families. My professional training is strengthened by several years of lived experience navigating mental health recovery, allowing me to connect with individuals and families through empathy, authenticity, and hope.

I have experience supporting family members whose spouses or children are experiencing mental health challenges. I understand the emotional strain, uncertainty, and stress that can affect the entire family system, and I am committed to helping loved ones build coping skills, strengthen communication, and access appropriate resources.

My services offer one-on-one support grounded in compassion and empathy. I utilize evidence-based strategies, peer support principles, and a strengths-based approach to empower individuals and families to foster resilience, healing, and long-term wellness.

We meet clients as equals, building trust through honesty, respect, and shared humanity.

  • Strength‐based approach
We focus on resilience, personal goals, and empowering clients to take the next step forward.
