Built to close the gap in Texas mental health care.
Sunshine Health was established in 2023 to expand access to quality psychiatric care anywhere in Texas, including underserved rural communities where specialty mental health care can be hard to find.

Our commitment to Texas

Texas is big, and psychiatric care is not spread evenly across it. In many towns, the nearest psychiatric provider is hours away and the wait can stretch for months.
We chose telehealth on purpose. Virtual care lets us bring the same quality psychiatric care you would find in the big cities to families in small rural towns, with no long drives, no time off work and no waiting room. Distance should never decide who gets care.
